PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Epoxy asphalts have excellent waterproof, anti-corrosion and strong adhesion properties for all types of construction materials. COOLBOND® epoxy asphalt resin based primer is used for pre-coat treatment of the application surface to form a binding layer between the base and paving materials to achieve high performance properties.It is an ancillary material for road surfacing.


APPLICATIONS

COOLBOND®  SC-601 Epoxy Asphalt Primer is a two-part products. Part A is made from the epoxy resin for outdoor use, petroleum pitch, thinner and other components, while Part B is from the oil asphalt, curing agent, accelerator, diligent and other additives. Products are mainly used in re-surfacing of old asphalt and concrete roads and bridge to create a waterproof bonding layer, firmly bond the asphalt surface or color pavement and the steel or concrete deck together.

APPLICATION GUIDE

1. Clean the application surfaces

2. Add Part A and B of this primer into a container at a ratio of 1:1 and mix thoroughly for 2 to 3 minutes and apply the mixture to the designated surface immediately.

3. Apply the epoxy (or color) asphalt surfacing materials.

4. Compact the surface after 3 hours.

5. The product is flammable, Keep away from open flames.

6. Avoid inhalation of solvent vapors

7. This product should be stored in a cool well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight.

8. Application weather requirements: temperature> 5 ℃, relative humidity <85% before construction, Do no apply in rain.
